Adrienne Turner has been in education for over a decade, with more than 10 years in the DeKalb County School District. She currently supports schools in Area 5 as the Instructional Technology Specialist. She is passionate about helping educators when it comes to integrating technology effectively during instructional practices so that DCSD Digital Dreamers are equipped for their future.   



Dr. Shanique Worthey is a mom, wife, educator, and technologist! She loves anything that supports preparing students of all ages with innovative skills for our ever-changing world! Dr. Worthey has 19 years of educational experience with the DeKalb County School District. She has supported schools throughout the district, webmasters, and FUSE (Furthering Student Engagement) Cohorts with promoting awareness, encouraging expansion, and facilitating integration with our digital tools.   

As an educational leader, she has earned Teacher of the Year for both Wadsworth Elementary School in 2008, and Ronald McNair Discovery Learning Academy, in 2019! Dr. Worthey enjoys connecting with all stakeholders and building effective teams to integrate technology.  Her doctoral capstone product also investigated collaborative teams and their impact on technology integration in teaching and learning. She is also certified in Instructional Technology, Gifted, and Elementary Education (P-5) and an alumnus of Spelman College (B.A.), Grand Canyon University (M.Ed.), the University of West Georgia (Ed.S.), and Capella University (Ed.D.). 



Tasheika Mason has dedicated 15 years to the DeKalb County School District (DCSD) as an educator specializing in English Language Arts (ELA), English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Gifted instruction. With a rich educational background and a passion for innovative learning, Tasheika boasts an impressive academic portfolio with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Spelman College, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Phoenix, and an Education Specialist degree (Ed.S.) from the University of West Georgia. As a member of the DCSD POWER Fellows, FUSE3, and AI Cohorts, she continually seeks opportunities to support stakeholder engagement and edtech.  

Tasheika is a passionate proponent of 21st-century learning environments and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. She firmly believes in preparing students for the future, championing initiatives that promote college and career readiness. In her current role as an Instructional Technology Specialist, she provides support to district high schools, advocating for the integration, awareness, and expansion of technology.
