What is the Padcaster? 

The usage of the Padcaster system is to capture and record video for future editing using iMovie. For the DeKalb County School District, the primary usage of the Padcaster is to record, edit, and stream video for future usage for school based activities. These activities include but not limited to are:

  • Morning announcements
  • School Wide meetings
  • Concerts
  • Sporting Events
  • School Events
